View Labels
There are several reasons why a label may not print. For example, your LIMS administrator may not have LabOnline configured to print labels automatically or there may be an issue with the printer communication. Once a label has been printed successfully, it can no longer be viewed in LabOnline.

To view and troubleshoot labels that have not been printed, follow these steps:
- Select Samples > Manage Labels from LabOnline main menu.
- On the Manage Labels grid page, select the row or rows for the labels you want to print.
- Click Print.
- A confirmation message pops up. Click Print to confirm.
- If the labels print successfully, a green success message pops and the rows are removed from the grid. If there is an issue printing the labels, a red message pops to inform you the labels could not be printed. If this happens, turn on debug logging and repeat steps 2-4. Examine the PrintPendingLabels message in the Debug Log for additional error messages. It may also be necessary for your LIMS administrator to examine the API log.
See: Debug Log for more information about troubleshooting using LabOnline's debug log features.

To delete a label that has not been printed, follow these steps:
- Select Samples > Manage Labels from the main menu.
- On the Manage Labels grid page, select the row or rows for the labels you want to delete.
- Click Delete.
- A confirmation message pops up. Click Delete to confirm.
Once a label has been deleted, it can no longer be viewed in LabOnline.
