Environmental Order Tests Page Field Descriptions

These fields described here are based on the system owned Environmental Order Template, which is configured in LabOnline LabOnline Manager. Because LabOnline is customizable based on laboratory needs, some of the fields referenced below may not be available or may be named differently. Direct any questions to your laboratory.

Select a Client & Profile

Drop-down list	Additional Details
Client Name	Clients for whom you are ordering tests.
Profile Name	Profile against which you are ordering tests.

Add Samples & Tests

Fields	Additional Details
My Workorder ID	ID of the Workorder.
Test reason drop-down list	Reason for testing the sample.
Lab site drop-down list	Location of the lab responsible for the testing.

Samples Panel Grid

Drop-down list	Additional Details
My Sample ID	ID for the sample.
Collection site	Name of the site where the sample was collected..
Matrix	Sample's matrix.

Sample Details

Fields	Additional Details
Line item drop-down list	Sample's profile line item, which defines the matrix, turn code, tests, and any special pricing.
My Sample ID	ID of the sample. Based on the configuration of the profile you have selected, this field may not be available.
Collection site drop-down list	Lists Labs from which the sample could have been collected.
Matrix	Sample's matrix.
Collector drop-down list	Name of the collector.
Collected date / Collected time	Date and time the sample was collected. See: Enter Dates and Times for details on how to enter dates and times in LabOnline.
Sample Description	Description of the sample.

Tests & Containers Panel Grid

Fields	Additional Details
Container Type	Container type for the sample.
Preservative	Substance used for preserving the sample.
Tests check-boxes	Tests to order for the sample.
Comments	Any special instructions associated with a requisition.
