Search the Test Catalog
The Test Catalog page lists tests and services performed by the laboratory. The test details page provides important information about each test, such as the analytes that are included, the types of sampling material on which it can be performed, and any special collection requirements.
Note: Because LabOnline is customizable based on laboratory needs, some of the options referenced in the steps and images below may not be available or may be named differently. Direct any questions to your laboratory.
To search the Test Catalog, follow these steps:
- Select Test Catalog from
the LabOnline main
menu. All currently available tests published by the laboratory appear in the grid.
-
To search for a test by test name, test code, alias, or analyte, enter criteria in the Search field on the right side above the grid. All searches are executed as a partial, case-insensitive search. Press Enter or click the Search button to execute your search.
Note: The search only searches for analytes of direct tasks. For mapped tests, the search does not include analytes of constituent tests.
-
Any mapped tests are listed under a bold heading in the Name and Test Code columns. Click the arrow in the unlabeled column to expand and see nested constituent tests of a mapped test in the grid.
-
Click the link in the Name column to view details for a specific test or service. The Test Details page is read-only and cannot be edited.
