View Orders
Note: Because LabOnline is customizable based on laboratory needs, some of the options referenced in the steps and images below may not be available or may be named differently. Direct any questions to your laboratory.
This screen shows all orders that have not yet been received by the lab. You can view a list of active orders and see their status to determine where each order is in the ordering process. To view the active orders, click Orders on the main menu, then select View Orders.
The View Orders overview page opens.
Note: The options available on this page depends on the lab's license.
The quick filters allow you to quickly view the order according to the specific state the order is in the ordering workflow. Viewing options are as follows:

Current - Displays all current orders that have not yet been received by the lab. Future orders are excluded and can be viewed from the Scheduled filter.

Pending - Displays orders that are saved but not complete, still requiring more work. Orders that are pending and not yet submitted include an edit link in the Chain of Custody column that opens to the details page of the current order.

Needs Signature - Displays orders that are missing a patient's signature when the order profile is configured to require signatures. The Delete button is enabled when at least one record is selected and user has access to Order Tests.

Needs Review - Displays orders that are pending review by an authorized referring party. Delete button is enabled when all selected rows are unsigned and the user has access to Order Tests.

Ordered - Displays orders that are complete and ready to send to the lab.

Scheduled - Displays future orders that are scheduled.

Note: The Delete button is disabled until a single entry is selected. Orders that are part of a series cannot be deleted, and you need edit permissions to access the delete function.
